Feel much better now that things are under cover:)

Wow, what a difference a day makes! The temperature was above 40 today and we had a lot of sun, Snow is melting and the builders are making the most of it...this is the progress they made on Saturday and we went by around 3pm...so they must have been up early and working!

The framing has started and I can see where rooms/windows are going, very neat!

WINTER has arrived:(

November 17, 2014 we had our first significant snow storm, brought 5 inches to us. Followed by an artic blast of frigid air, wind chills in the negative.
Since our concrete for garage and basement did not get poured before this wintery blast, we are on Plan B...

We are going to do the framing first then pour the concrete in the basement and the garage.  It makes it a little better with the recent weather events.  Also the windows and doors will not be affected by the elements. They are designed to withstand these conditions.

Seriously...our lumber has arrived! I ran into John, our project manager when I was cruising thru on my lunch break...no I do not stalk the place, just drive by and smile:):):):)
Anyway...John said they will start framing next week.
